Hierarchical Slavery Poem by Boghos Artinian

Hierarchical Slavery

Rating: 5.0

Lamentable are protons and electrons
Caught in nuclei and orbitals;
Lamentable are the elements
That in molecules lose their weight and sheen;
Lamentable are molecules that succumb
To the charms of plasmids and viruses;
Lamentable are plasmids and viruses
That bequeath their skins just to enter cells;
Lamentable are the hundred trillion cells
That slave in Man so he may live abundantly;
Lamentable are those of us rashly caught
In webs and nets to serve systems unknown!
