Serving The Medicine Poem by Dorsey Baker

Serving The Medicine

Rating: 5.0

Serve good medicine
Serve bad medicine
Thats the medicine
That you will get
Served back to you
Sooner or later

Stand up and serve
But just don't
Jump the curve
Put some coffee in the cup
Put sugar in the bowl
Give somebody a blanket
Because late at night
It just might
Get very cold

Give a quick handshake
Or heavy pat on the back
Hungry man want a meal
So don't give him
Just a snack

Remember the medicine
Bitter or sweet
It's taste
Because the medicine that
You are serving
That medicine
Is the medicine you get served
Back to you
Sooner or later
