Serpents Tongue Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Serpents Tongue

Rating: 2.7

Wisdom sips the tea of choice
Will on the journey of Prometheus
Emergence into the age
Beyond the age of Hegel
Bondage has no fire
Freedom has no politics
Living soul grapples
The schools of solitude

Judged by the wicked
Inquisition of purple imps
Leave the moldy gold
Shine with the martyrs
Raise your glass to intuition
Butterflies of struggle
Imagination without chains
The collective defeated

Crush the serpents' tongue
