Serendipity Poem by Jim Norausky

Serendipity

Rating: 5.0

One of my favorite words

path never taken kind of thing

floating through life happenstance.

English writer Horace Walpole

coined word from Persian fairy tale

where father banishes three princes

to learn practical lessons of life.

Friend Webster offers 'gift of finding

agreeable things not sought for'.

Many scenarios in paths of life

glad I found my lovely wife

except she was sought for.
