Serendipity Poem by Jessica Lindsey

Serendipity

The sun came out of nowhere,
Lifted shadows, there you were
And now you're sitting with me here
Chasing Lonely out the door.
The words you are so sweetly singing
Land softly on my soul
And you're mending me with wine and laughter,
I've never felt so whole.
You fold me into your embrace
My heart finds wings and soars
To such a height of blissfulness
And all of me is yours.
A gentle kiss, sweetest caress
You place upon my forehead
I'm undeserving, yet you bless
Me with such affection.
When I look into your eyes
Your beautiful perspective shows
Me a brand new way to see
The world-la vie en rose.

Ah! What a glorious poem! Haven't read one like this from a young poet for a pretty long time. Reading it was a pleasure. Am filled with happiness.
