Senses Of Sorrow Poem by courtney tak

Senses Of Sorrow

Looking deep into your eyes
Smelling the shampoo from your hair
Feeling our lips collide

Hearing your gentle breathing
Tasting your lips on mine
Pure myself from seething
Feeling quite divine

Sight becoming hazy
Scent filled with booze
Feeling somewhat lazy
Knowing I might lose

Hearing slurred words
Tasting alcohol
Head rimmed by birds
Ordering a tall

Woke up the next morn
Looking ‘round through tears
Feeling full of mourn
Circling odor of beers

Hearing muffled sobbing
Tasting my own blood
Feeling from robbing
Waiting for a flood
