Senryu - 16 (Memories - 3) Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Senryu - 16 (Memories - 3)

Rating: 5.0

Memories mingle
my heart pitter-pattering
I hold back the tears

Memories tapping
Life a series of events
Secured safely

Wrapped in memories
Carrying the scents of love
without you besides.

Memories in proportion like salt make us happy as salt gives taste to food. However, if memories dominate ones being, they may become liabilities and excess salt is bound to spoil taste of food. Thank you for your comment on Good Teacher.
