Self Infliction Poem by lilly mandrell

Self Infliction

Rating: 3.0

Her self inflicted torture is not pain,
But it is the relationship strain.
She cant leave what was just be,
And she is trying to get you to agree.
You try and tell her that it just wont last.
And that all your feelings are in the past.

She’s so addicted to you,
But you can will never see what you do.
All the tears she has cried.
And how she wishes shed just die.
But she just paints on that fake smile,
Thinking some how maybe its worthwhile.

So this is to her self inflicted addiction.
She cant get away from this infliction.
He’s always right beside her.
Like some sort of constant reminder,
Of how bad it feels to be so alone,
And how far apart they have grown.

This is a beautiful poem...I really do hope this is about a friend and not you though, you're too talented.
