Segregation X Poem by Magic What'sHerName

Black vs. White
Black thought it was wrong
White thought it was right
They took too long
To make it work
The white acted like jerks.

They didn't care for color
They hurt the ones fighting
For all to be equal
And what's right
But the white were believing
That they should get everything
And colored should get nothing.

This was not right
Black vs. White.

Not to be treated equal
Not to be treated human
But to be treated like a dog
Where white were in charge
Where colored were beaten and killed
Innocent lives were lost
For colored payed the cost
Of a white man
Who couldn't expand
Public stores and clans.

Colored were treated like nothing
While white got everything
They stole from the colored people
When they bombed the steeple
Pf a church to kill four people
They were four little girls
With smiles and curls
Never stood a chance
With a white man.
