Wandering aimlessly
At twilight on the beach,
When the fishermen go home
After a day’s catch
To the market place.
And children
Too joyfully,
After playing ball
And gathering sea shells.
The moon is covered
By the clouds,
Stars
Are invisible
To the eye.
Sea seemed to beckon;
Could it be…?
It too was lonely
Wanted to share
Desert places
With me?
