Seeing With Closed Eyes Poem by Russell McFadden

Seeing With Closed Eyes

Take a look at me
tell me what you see
do you see my force field
That block s out the hurt
do you see my forceful smile
the smile that hides so many secrets
do you see the tear in my eyes
do you see my skin strong and thick, cut and burned, changed and distorted the skin which is the body
the body that once took in too much pain
do you hear my heart
the heart that has been scratched, cracked, broken, shattered
do you see the pain of others
do you see their force fields
do you see their tears
do you see their body's
do you hear their hearts
A heart the loves
I am the fixer here to help heal here to take your pain as my own to love you so you can love yourself
