Secrets Poem by Stephanie Jeffries

Secrets

Here I am
wishing you would take my hand
I'm your secret inside your keeping
You secretly keep me weeping

I wait for you
like day waits for night
I wish we could do this right
and when your gone I want to go to
is that too much to be asking for?

I want to be more than just a thought when your holding her
How much longer can we hide this it's building into a huge boulder
Please let me cry into your shoulder

Let's make a home
You hit my heart like thunder
I'm hiding living someone else's life
You will never come with me
Wake me from this dream.
