Secreted Gardens Poem by Aaron Austin

Secreted Gardens

Rating: 5.0

Thrown asunder
Feelings frayed,
Our beating heart thunders
Fears all but allayed.

Future nearing
Shrouded paths,
Our purpose entagled
No escape, aftermath.

Souls e'er aching
Attempting resolve,
Our ties slowly breaking
Once whole now dissolved.

Loving tendrils
Deep belowground,
Our emotions imperiled
Together e'er wound.

Flame exstinguished
Choice made;
Our boundaries distinguished,
Building blockades.

Love unforgotten
Though forever portrayed;
In our secreted gardens,
My solaceful glade.
