Searching For Stonehenge And Paradise { Psalm 777}

__________I___________

TIME, TEMPTATION & TRUTH

Time will never deign requests,
entertain Life's regrets.
It's hand's methodic, indifferent,
perpetually fast, insistent,
to the impendings, portendings-
and ultimate endings,
we incur on ourselves,
then tossed on back shelves,
all the sins we have laid,
by Free Will's parade.

And perhaps it's not fair -
Time carries its air
with obstinate stare,
should ever you dare
to challenge Times hand,
its hourglass sand
by Destiny's power
dictating 'The Hour'
that be our last.

You must be agnostic,
or a Doctor of Space
purging prognostics,
both sides of your face -
to take on this question
of Time, Life and Lesson,
rebuke Heaven's Gate,
from logic's queer bait
that escapes your guile,
watch Abaddon smile.

Still we search, we wait,
while Time syncopates
where great men laid claims
bout Destiny's game.
Poor us.....and in fact-
damn us and our acts
that Time won't take back
like Stonehenge's cracks

What to do, my friend?
Is there Time to repent?
Perhaps we should search
for a soul-deep re-birth,
a nascent ambiance...
..........of RENAISSANCE!

For the God-Gifts we take
for granted each day,
and rarely embrace,
'til Time drops its face
and hands o'er our fate.

FOUNDATION & FORGIVENESS

Time never veers, never lies,
it be constant all of our lives,
always moving on forward,
relentless, and stalwart
through our memories in kind,
Time kindles our minds
to events, tales and stories,
of youth, love and glory;
of ships we once sailed
through life-storms black veil,
by the riptides, 'til Faith
takes us home, we're God-safe
'neath the harbor of night's stars
still we search for who we are.

Quite silent be this dock,
still the hands of Life's clock;
methodic, indifferent,
perpetually insistent;
Be us death-webbed in cob
awaiting judgement from God
on a string, two prayers short
of the Peace we all have sought.
It's alright...God forgives,
for as long as we live,
and believe, trust and love
in the Touch of The Dove
