Sea-Senryu Poem by indira babbellapati

Sea-Senryu

Crumpled, the sea
Folded unto herself
Her cheek, salty!

Sprained, the sea
Faltered in her stride
Halting flow!

Rising in revolt
The sea retreated
Far from land!

The varying moods of the sea are well portrayed in your Senryus, Indira!

Placid as a woman in house-chores, ferocious as a woman in rage, rebellious as a woman in revolt- -this your moody sea!
