Sea Dark Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Sea Dark

To the sea-dark
That stretches far
Upon the thoughtful
Ocean
To you.

Waters here do not
Leap
Upon the rocks
For land too far
In this strangling immensity
Stands

Abandoned
Cry the heavens
Yet
In that watery reigns
Immense
No one hears except
The gurgling liquid
Reigns
Down there.
