'Scotland Small? ' Poem by Hugh MacDiarmid

'Scotland Small? '

Rating: 4.8

Have you often felt alone and off track, separated from the only one can atone?

Eternal fear has whispered into your ear not from above but from below.

You have missed the blessings of the Lord because you did not do this or you did not do that, is the usual attack.

It is time to face that you are not in disgrace if you have washed his feet with tears of respect for his saving grace.

Do not feel left alone just look around for some stones that are cast from those who think they know eternities past; they have forgotten the words of advice let him who is without sin be the one who cast the first stone.

Your past, present, and future sins are forgiven to a new covenant for the eternal heaven; so erase your fears for you have washed his feet with your tears.

Let him who has an ear to hear let him hear the words of our Savior, 'Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much, but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.'

'Your sins are forgiven.' Four short words she did hear from her Savior because she washed his feet with her tears.

When we repent our wrong doings with complete humility and surrender, the Lord comes to our rescue. The poet has beautifully expressed the philosophy through his lovely poem. Thanks..... Your past, present, and future sins are forgiven to a new covenant for the eternal heaven; so erase your fears for you have washed his feet with your tears.
