School
Many refuse to claim their places here,
but feel sorry for themselves when out there
This learning is for a while and nothing more;
only first agree to open the door
Your body will be remoulded and your soul educated,
only if your heart is dedicated
Try your best; give it your best shot;
if you can't, befriend books; that alone is a lot
If you don't, your heart will be cheaply bought,
but if you do, your wisdom will be widely sought.
Befriend the books, be dedicated and your life will be remoulded. Only the school can do this for you. Beautiful poem.
