School Poem by Chinaza Divine Ajulu

School

Rating: 5.0

Many refuse to claim their places here,
but feel sorry for themselves when out there
This learning is for a while and nothing more;
only first agree to open the door

Your body will be remoulded and your soul educated,
only if your heart is dedicated

Try your best; give it your best shot;
if you can't, befriend books; that alone is a lot
If you don't, your heart will be cheaply bought,
but if you do, your wisdom will be widely sought.

This insightful piece encourages self-empowerment and emphasizes the importance of claiming one's place. The call to open the door, dedicate the heart, and embrace learning, either through personal effort or books, resonates with a powerful message of self-growth and the pursuit of wisdom.

Befriend the books, be dedicated and your life will be remoulded. Only the school can do this for you. Beautiful poem.
