Scars Left Unchecked
my heart fills with tears
the overwhelming pain of a thousand years
a wound both of flesh and mind
has caused me to go blind
pain suppressed to the point of madness
crying fueled not by sadness
but of hate
scars left both in mental and physical state
shaped like the insanity that consumed me long ago
unable to think unable to breath...
