Say Sorry Poem by Maya Rehill

Say Sorry

Say sorry for what? For the words I said, for actions I accept, for the wrongs I did, for the pain I endured?

Say Sorry!

Say sorry for what? For the days I cried, the days I crumbled, the days I died, the moments I lost hope, the seconds I gave up, the times I got up to say goodbye?

Say Sorry!

Say sorry for what? The pain I paid, the hurt I swallowed, the people I lost, the confidence I quarrelled, the dreams I gave up, the life I changed, the status I accepted.

Say Sorry!

Say sorry for what? I am left as empty as one can be, I have erased my past to live my future, and I've erased my future to tolerate my present.

I'm sorry for the reasons and the words I called life...!
