Say Hi To A Stranger Poem by Thirteen Tears

Say Hi To A Stranger

When the pleasure doesn't please anymore
When life has lost it's zest
When the flowers droop and the birds won't sing
and you've given life your best

When sadness looms
Like a morning haze
When you want to die
just to end the craze

Say a quick prayer
Let yourself go
Close your eyes
it helps don't you know

Look to the sky
In the green grass lay
Be kind to a stranger
it could make their day

Look for the joy in life
It'll annul the strife
Help a neighbor
and joy will pay for the labor.
