Save Your Tears Poem by Daichi Nomura

Save Your Tears

I still remember that night,
the night i made a vow,
a vow not to cry
until i saw you crying beside me.

You tell me you need to say
something important.
you tell me you have to leave,
and your sorry.
a tear runs down your cheek,
and i feel the tears start to come down,
but you stop me, saying
Save your tears, for some one who deserves them.

And i remember, that same night
the night you were packing,
and walking to the station.
i was sitting in my room,
crying my eyes out,
for you.

I remember sitting there for hours
with a blank expression,
plastered to my face.
Then it really sunk in,
the fact you were gone,
forever.

And since that night,
the worst night of my life,
the night you had abandoned me,
I have never cried.
