Satisfaction I. Poem by Ivana RadanJamnicki

Satisfaction I.

Rating: 3.5

When getting tired of spending most of your time by yourself
When finding no one to be around when you want him to
When you can’t reach for anyone’s closeness
When sad and want someone to talk to
When you want someone to be your silent companion
When missing somebody to be there for you
When realizing your friends are occupied when you need them

You may then feel no one understands you even after you have been clear
And after time and time again of that, of them, of us
You may lose your patience and get angry
The minorities can then seem the most important things on the world
And you may burst out in tears because you haven’t got anyone to share that with
You and me, we may lose our senses over it
And think it’s all because of haven’t been lucky enough to find that right one
And think that he is still somewhere out there waiting
