Sarah Poem by Thomas Plotz

Sarah

I saw a girl the other day,
Running up a grassy hill,

What a thrill,

I was thinking Sarah
Maybe, we could hangout
Sometime, drink some wine,
Catch-up on past memories, and say hello,

What a thrill,

She said, she ran up
10 times a day,
Every day, while you stood still
Over by the riverside, trying to hide
Your sobbing eye's, without realizing
I was looking out for you, when you were Blue

What a thrill,

You have numbers of our favorite place,
To hide, on your side,
What a thrill,
Seeing you go up the hill
Again,

What a thrill, such a thrill,

After I said hello, and shook your hand,
You said, I don't know if you know me now at all…

But I did remember, I did remember, I did remember
I did see you that day, my family friend,
And with that, she said I need to get back to work now,
Gave me a smiling smirk, giggling grin
And ran up the hill
Again,

What a thrill,

If you could do 10 a day
I could do a few too,
But I haven't seen you here
Because I haven't been as Blue

Sarah it was great to see you…
