Say Poem by Thomas Plotz

Say

Say the sky won’t fall, when I say I do
Because I want to stay with you
Say you will stay with me; when my mind, completely gone
When I wake from, that awful, blinding dream
Because I want to see

To see my loves still by my side, reaching out his hand
Then helping me stand, in this golden land, that
Grounds us to the sand

For I do, I say, I do
Love my family, by my side
On and around, the sound
Water lapping upon the shore from the
Wide, Wide River

Love running strong
Love running long
Emotions pull south to the sea

The river grounds, but cuts right through
This place, of our
Say my loves, will stay true
As I love to be with you, too

I Say I’m Staying
With You Babe
I Say
I love You
