Sapid Thoughts Poem by Victoria Stamps

Sapid Thoughts

Twist and turn
Through the night
Dreams that burn
With torment bright
Sapid thoughts
So vivid, so real
Come to nought
When you can’t feel

Hmm, interesting comment, thank you. Though I did mean the thoughts were twisting and turning. Sapid has two common meanings, both of which are relevant, the first is having a pleasant taste the second to be agreeable or engaging. In other words... Whilst there was torment in the first dreams, the second had dreams that were pleasant and yet utterly believable. But impossible to touch. The length of this was owing to it being created to fit inside the 140 characters of a tweet.
