The same old story is told
The same old story unfolds
A character changed here and there
But in the end, he will still loose her
Reaching out across the stream
Of all things that lie between
Silence is his desperate scream
Yet for her, his dream, he remains unseen
She wonders off with another
Living love's golden shower
Of joys, while he has to survive
With seeing them together
He knows where the road will take
He knows his heart in the end will break
But he cant help it, to fall in love
He has the heart of a gentle dove
But its dying as it flames
Sick of love's painful games
