Same Intentions Poem by kaylem 479

Same Intentions

The ones I love the most are the ones that break my heart
The things that hold me together are the things that fall apart
Hold on, let go, there's no such disparity
A life filled with joy and surrounded by calamity

My heart may break and never learn to forgive
My soul may die and never know how to grieve
Dying and living, to me it's the same
You may have known me but only by name

A life you may live and still desire to die
A death you may fear yet still you may desire
Crying and laughing, do they really differ?
A cold summer welcoming the warm winter

I could love someone else and still hate myself
I could keep on smiling and still fake what i felt
Between you and me, there's no difference at all
A forgotten angel just waiting to fall.
