Samantha Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Samantha

Let's fall in love
If only for a moment
Whatever that means to you
The sunlight shimmers against the truths found in your eyes
Times found remingiscing in your company
Times caught only in thought
As the note that rattles around in the bottle by the shore
Realities that mean more with each growing second as each pebble has been counted more than once
More than a thousand
The wind softly speaks it's lullaby
Silently sailing through the clouds as time holds no bearence here alone in your thought
A single rose found amongst thorns
A single thought
Forbidden
As I see you as the oyster of my world
The harvest of my dreams
Bronze colored grains
Mimic your touch
The very essence of your skin
Memberence of the times we'd watch the sun turn to dusk
The honeysuckles seem so far away
As only today I can still smell them
So many times I've called God's name only to find the reason most prayers go unanswered
The waves crash against the sand
An act meant for two
Undying as depth holds no factor
Words have no meaning
As their bodies act without form
A play that's been spoke for centuries
Submitting to each others will
Languages that yearn to be unheard
Emancipated within themselves as only their cries hold their release
A single temptation that beckons
For two that long as one
Their silence holds no excuse
As they're connected by each others stare
For a moment
Let's seep deeper into the truths that profess what our souls have been longing to speak
The way you style your hair
The way those wrinkles appear around your nose when your mad
The way your cheeks spread ear to ear when you smile
I find each aspect as I sit here and look out into the shore
Each time im in your presence im in paradise
I wish I could make you understand the symphony I see each time you laugh
Each time you talk
each time you cry
each time you smile
It'll take a lifetime
More time than eternity would allow
If the Gods would be so kind to grant that pleasure
The waves are fair in size
They roar fiercely amongst each other as the sound could be heard for miles at a time
Echoing between the seashells and the scattered palms that stretch from here til the eye can no longer see
The ocean resymbols your eyes in depth
Vast
as the miles are long
The beach
the sand it'self resymbols your skin in tone
Soft in touch
beautiful as the day is long
The times I've held you close are dear
No amount of time could surmount to how much I love you
Hold fast to the moments spent in loves company
To the trees that bare coconuts to the trees that bare bananas
As they remain home to the many seagulls that flock towards the beach
As all that I could ask is that your heart remains the place I call home
For a moment
Is all I ask
At times lighting fills the air
The sunshine is no longer seen
It awaits the sound of the thunder that follows
Climaxing to just the sound alone as time is of the essence
Imprinting the skies as it traces the lines felt between you and I
Nothing else could be seen for miles
As the thunder then seduced the lighting
Infactuated by it's touch
The rain began to pour
Filling the ceases drawn of you in the sand
Drenching both the thought of you as well as I
The rain reminds me of your kiss
As each drop spread across my lips
Each touch
tantalizing
euphoric
spinetingling as I felt the chill of your touch
The thunder conducts each feeling through its sound
The chrous the carpentry the falsetto's
As alone it was the only thing that could be heard
Echoing the sounds of passion
Echoing the cries of the ocean by the shore
Silently kissing each wave
each time it shimmered against the oceans floor
I see heaven each time you look at me
I consider each moment spent with you a blessing
Unseen prayers sent from your eyes to mine
