Salvation Hour Poem by Kestrel Quiambao

Salvation Hour

Rating: 3.5

Would you smile and die when you're down
Crying like an infant in a dark chamber
Sad and mad with a face in frown
Will you hold my hand to walk with me, together

This is your Salvation Hour
Cooking time and drinking wine
For the world and fruit so sour
Come and join me, enjoy and be fine.

Would you scream your dream in the wishing well
Singing the old swan song of the west
Would you live or would you die in an open shell
Can you stand and take all your best

This is your Salvation Hour
Eating grass in your Uncle's farm
The world will shrink and you're too far
I miss the weather, the life so warm

This is your Salvation Hour
Whispering the screams of the elders
Can we win this timeless war
Cold and shivering, fight using swords and feathers
