Give My Worth Poem by Kestrel Quiambao

Give My Worth

Stranded in this parallel dimension of
insanity
Yet extremly drawn to the flaws of
failed reality
I see no dream, I see no hope
For eternity has abandoned us, left us
in this rotting decay...

However, the more I move, the more I see
That dreams for men are just a spiral
cycle of confusion
Which causes both war and love
Haven't we met our worth
No we didn't, we just create it...

We used to travel in this unclean
nightmare of illusions
Until we're completely drowned and
sucked up by our very own imagination
And still we keep on living in these
dreams
And no more second continues to pass...

We see, we live, we die
Yet our life is nothing more but an
eternal cycle of misery
We call ourselves redeemers yet they
call us heretics
Aren't they the ones who made us
miserable
Who knows, maybe...

Moving on, for the dying
Respect is all we need
Tell me my worth
And send me to my euphoria
Which leads into another endless
everlasting paradox
Yet no man will ever see my worth
For he is to give it to me
And tell me... 'My friend, this is
life, and hell all together...'
