Sadness Poem by Melissa Fleming

Sadness

She hurts,
her dad is leaving her.

She sits and remembers
her dad coming to get
her in fifth or sixth
year of school.

She remembers running
to him.

He is now moving away
from the children
her parents r done forever....

Why are you moving she asks

there is a knock on the door
its her mom and step-dad....

Back in her mothers arms,
she wants to get
away from her parents BOTH of
them....

She is not mad
she just doesn't understand how.

How he can just leave...

A sad poem. For the child to not want to be with either parent. Sometimes parents try too hard. Remember there is no manuel for raising kids. Thank you Melissa
