Rustic Beauty Poem by Marilyn Lott

Rustic Beauty

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful Lakes and ponds
Dot Oklahoma country
Enormous rock surrounding
Every one you see

At times the trees are scarce
No place for them to grow
But the beauty is always
Everywhere you go

Clouds hover gracefully above
The scene as though so proud
Many times they collect
Like an enormous shroud

And the cacti, how I love them
Prickly Pear is so unique
So go to Medicine Park, my friend
If rustic beauty is what you seek!
