Rust Poem by Cee Bea

Rust

Just tell me- I will go
you always felt like a ghost
for you its good, all just fine
I dont need gold of any kind
you kept the mask and story hid
tell the truth, its been your bid

to leave this story left untold
wrecks and ruins hearts of gold
You will think just what you will
my heart had room, I thought you’d fill

Was I just a masquerade
will you leave me, will you stay
The heart I knew..at least was brave

but cryptic is as cryptic does
my heart wont fail without your love
if it's not, just tell me so
with no malice I will go

leave me wonder, if thats your wish
I never even had one kiss
but if felt right, when nothing did

I’ll survive, thats what I do
though not my wish, its up to you
don't use proxies, don't use rhyme
step to the plate..just say good bye

My one true wish, was always you
like the mocking bird, you always flew
just beyond the edge of night
ever there with within my sight

I won't go, till you say so
thats just the truth, the truth you know
But for me to leave, without good bye
my heart will rust, and never grow.
