If Wishes Were Raindrops Poem by Cee Bea

If Wishes Were Raindrops

Rating: 4.8

If wishes were raindrops
if wishes came true
the sky would be green
the grass would be blue

taxes would be
what the government owes you
war would be something
only play stations do

there would never be cancer
sadness or pain
all different colors would be
in each drop of rain

we would not need cars
or planes, trains or buses
and Oil would not be
what the big fuss is

our children would be taught
its important to care
that cool's not about Nike's
or the clothes that they wear

that what we have
is best when we share
and that others with less
is why we use prayer

But of course Im no fool
though I dance in rain
but to wish otherwise
might appear vain

So.. if wishes were raindrops
and my wishes came true
my wishes I wish,
are wishes for you
