Rupunzel's Story Poem by Chloe Coleman

Rupunzel's Story

Rating: 4.5

Locked in my tower,
with no hope of escape.
The clock chimes the hour,
I'm afraid it's getting late.

Another Day passes by,
without any change.
I will try not to cry.
Could this really be my fate?

Then one day I met you
my life has purpose now.
And somehow I just knew,
I'd be free somehow.

Someday we'll be together
you can free me from my jail
Then we can be forever
evil will not prevail.

So for now climb back down my hair
pretend that it's a vine
and carry in your heart my prayer
That someday you'll be mine.

Locked in a tower of silence. My dearest friend, O that I could set you free. The Hope you hold is sure as a star. Your poem brought closer my friend in the Hospital. Thanks. Read mine - Frustrated Plans - Adeline
