Run With It Poem by Patrick Tincher

Run With It

Your trapped
In a closet
Forced to see
But never taste it
You reach out a hand
Dripping blood
Just to feel it
Oh so close
Yet so far
If only you could batter
Down these blood caked walls
Just to reach it
You've tried to many times
But when you get it
You break free of this prison
You run with it
A prize to be envied
And yet you give it
And you give it just to run with it
