Rubaiyat Of Recognition Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Rubaiyat Of Recognition

Fly from false prophets, profit from life's beams.
Rejecting mediocrity redeems
poetry from prosaic partnerships -
filter loss dross, forestalling toxic streams.

Bridge ford, cut cords! Aboard life's drifting ship,
bolts loosed by Fate's fleet arrows seldom slip,
fragrant or vagrant, life hangs, fragile thread,
soon severed, separating lip from lip.

Some sure they will endure secure, deceive
themselves through fear - few heirs bare bodkin grieve -
time wasted, copy-pasted, as life's bread
shows butter scraped away, untimely leave.

Collective memory's horizon's short,
one falls, ten answer call, chase place base sought
perpetuating petty property -
what rock stands taut athwart time's caustic court?

A door exists beyond mind's mists few see,
too often they forbear to find fair key,
don't fumble; stumble, stray, lose way on Way;
identify sublime felicity.
