Rough Ascendance Poem by james tj24

Rough Ascendance

What have I done, will I ever learn?
It came and went so fast,
Not a sound could be heard.
Crash thump the pain draws near.
The whole room is filled with fear,
Like crystals forming through my blood,
I cringe and shiver. Metallic taste in my mouth.
Eyes wide, breath, short, heart fast.
The lights grow dim, shadows, fade.
I am left alone only to plead my case.
I pray and pray to he who is above me,
To lay his love and mercy Upon me.
