Roses In The Mail Poem by Charlotte Roster

Roses In The Mail

Sometimes I want to send you a rose in the mail
And see you look around the room
And wonder who gave it to you
But as sensible as I am
You are not worth a penny or a rose
So sit in dismay with your cold heart

Maybe sending roses in the mail will warm the heart. I say send them.
