Roses Poem by John Rosas

Roses

My red red rose was thumping
Thumping thumping
For I saw the blue rose of my dreams
Thumping thumping
Together we consecrated a white rose
Thumping thumping
One rose
Thumping thumping
But then my blue rose
Thumping thumping
Slowly changed to black
Thumping... Thumping...
And my red red rose
Thumping... Thumping...
Transformed into deep crimson
Thumping...
Waiting to become black
Thumping...
To see his blue rose once more
Thump...
And it's petals rested black.
