Rose from dirt
Rose still green
Rose up singing
Thorns and rose
Their voices rose
Rose like a corpse
Rose into a scream
Rose cheeks throats
Gutters red with rose
Gutters bled with rose
Rose higher and higher
Rose red and roses blew
Arose from a war of rose
Rose as violet as violence
Rose on love rose on anger
Rose again as morning rose
Rose to gods from monsters
Girls placards marching rose
Women broken still they rose
Men from boys to leaders rose
Rose and chose rose and grows
All had been lost on on they rose
Rose that made the nettles bloom
Rose of freedom our liberty shows
Rose tinted light as sun set and rose
Their path strewn with petals of rose
Their fragrant way perfumed with rose
