Rolling Stone Poem by moon dust

Rolling Stone

I come home late at night
Just wanting to wind down
Walking up the stairs
I need to be alone
So I hear you jamming out
A millionth time to the Rolling Stones
I see your night must have been hard too
'Cuz your kicking back alone
I turn back toward the door
Just tonight gotta find space of my own
And you say
Can I have this dance to my favorite Rolling Stones
You hold me in your arms
Holding me close you say
Tonight me and Mick darlin', gonna take your troubles away
Softly your voice with his takes me far from home
'Till it's only your voice I hear singing and old Rolling Stones.
