Roles Poem by Gbolabo Adetunji

Rating: 4.5

I thought I could get you
To blend into my embrace
And make it feel right
I wish it would stay that way
For a longer time
Than the length of a wish
Our sojourn smelting into one
With gentle turbulence
So we may rock the boat
And tilt the calm
Or ride the storm
Or just admit
We wouldn't be needing the spices

Beautiful romantic train of thought, well articulated and nicely brought forth from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Gbolabo. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
