Riverside Sandwhich Poem by Danny Draper

Riverside Sandwhich

Clear plastic film shrouds,
ham cheese and tomato

Sandwich corner soggy
juice spreads along concentration gradient

Double wrapped ample linear metres
of plastic film unravelled

Sits as ice silvery luminous exposed
Half stodge a tired mammoth

Plastic film lays like a puddle
Fallen fortress betrays its charges

Melts into the history of
Inadequate theatre fare.
