Rise (Written On Mothers Day) Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Rise (Written On Mothers Day)

Rise bloom of spring
now is your time,
to beauty bring
in colors prime.

From sorrow night
in winter's dark,
there comes love's light
to live and spark.

For all is you
in inside memories,
passing through
like summer breeze.

Rise to day
that give a light,
in lives new play
and morning bright.

All is you
for life and giving,
love so true
in summer living.

In spring of songs
and happy hour,
when love longs
a darling flower.
