Rise Of The Fallen Poem by Maverick Jones

Rise Of The Fallen

You feel flat on your face,
you grew tired and couldn't keep up the pace.
Your so-called friends keeping running ahead,
leaving you left for dead.
You feel so broken and so weak,
you have to get up and go out to get to back to the peak.
Keep moving and don't look back,
you can't depend on your wolf pack.
I'm going to reach for the stars,
no matter who sees my battle scars.
I'm not going to slide back down,
I can't allow myself to stay here and drown.
I'm gearing up for a serious fight,
we'll see who will really rule the night.
The beast inside isn't going to hide,
I'm a sicker version of Jekyll and Hyde.
I'm coming after all the one's who watch me fall,
I'll mount your heads on my wall.
You can't escape me even if I have to steal heavens key,
you'll regret ever walking away from me.
