Ring That Follows The Bell Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Ring That Follows The Bell

Ring that follows the
Bell
Bell that be
Not far away
It be the close of day
Toys that rummage
And ferret their way
Amidst the firs and
Pines in the tall
Garden:
Pains of a garden
That philosophizes
That it has not been
Gay enough too
Gray and lackluster
For a brimming night
Romantic.

The
Beetle
Walks
The
Beaten
Track
That
It
Did
Yesterday
It
Views
No
Tracks
No
Streets
No
Lanes
But
Makes
Them

Ring that follows the
Bell
Bell that be
Not far away
It be the close of day
Toys that rummage
And ferret their way
Amidst the firs and
Pines in the tall
Garden:
Pains of a garden
That philosophizes
That it has not been
Gay enough too
Gray and lackluster
For a brimming night
Romantic.
