Right Here Poem by Hillary Unknown

Right Here

The little girl sat all alone
She had no one
To call her own
She cried everyday and was sure
That no one would love her
As she put her face in her hands

A little boy approached
And sat by her side
He wouldn't look at her
Nor tear his eyes
Away from the sky
Finally he turned and said to her:

Chorus:
'I need a friend
And I think that it's you
I'll be there 'til the end
No matter what you do
No matter the road you take
I'll always be here
Even when you make a mistake
I'll help dry your tears
And calm your fears
Right here.'

The teenage girl sat and cried
No one could love her
Not after what she'd done
After all she'd lied
So she pulled out the gun
And put it to her chest

The teenage boy knocked on her door
When he entered the house
He found her on the floor
He raced to her side
And started to pray
And he decided to say:

Chorus:
'I need a friend
And I know that it's you
I'll be there 'til the end
No matter what you do
No matter the road you take
I'll always be here
Even when you make a mistake
I'll help dry your tears
And calm your fears
Right here.'

The girl opened up her eyes
And looked around
Was she in Heaven?
She felt like she'd drowned
She squinted at the lights
But smiled when she turned her head around

The boy started crying
As he watched her blue eyes shine
Because she had almost crossed
That fatal line
And he realized that he'd wasted time
By not telling her:

Chorus:
'I love you, friend
No matter what you do
I'll be here 'till the end
As long as you want me to
No matter what happens in life
I'll always be here
To hold you and your tears
And to calm your fears
Right here.'
