Right Before Your Eyes Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Right Before Your Eyes

Love comes and goes,
Just as the wings that flutter about, through the sky,
The monarchs that come once a year.
In glorious color.
Soon to fade into the halo of your eyes.
Soon to bloom into the whisper that shines through the night.
It harmonizes it's song.
The flutter of their wings.
The butterflies.
Healing the hurt behind the wisp of your eye.
Love comes and goes,
Leaving behind a bitter taste.
There's no need to worry
As this Spring before the weather changes.
They've chose to make their home in your heart.
The butterflies that promise
All will be well
In the halos of your eyes
